Dr. Kati N. Lake offers clinical consultation liaison to colleagues on PTSD, trauma, and sexual/domestic violence cases. 

She also provides independent consultation to organizations interested in implementing trauma-informed approaches to care and anti-sexual violence readiness and response. She has a demonstrated history of providing strategic, operational, and tactical leadership for the development and management of complex, high-visibility projects.

Independent Consultation Services

Integrating her clinical skills and consulting background, Dr. Lake advises organizations interested in integrating trauma-informed practices when providing sexual violence prevention and response services. 

Presentations and Training

In-person or virtual training tailored to cover a variety of topics, such as the neurobiology of trauma, abuses of power, acute and chronic effects of abuse, prevention strategies, and response procedures. Interactive presentations include role plays and discussions for targeted audiences, such as leadership teams, employees, and consumers.

Policy

Review of policies (e.g., sexual harassment policy, professional codes of conduct) to address issues of sexual violence prevention and response, tailored to reflect the organization’s culture, setting, and people.

Guided Discourse

Facilitated conversations with leadership teams and key stakeholders regarding the first or next steps in addressing sexual violence within organizations. Outcomes include strategic planning documents with action items mapping future prevention and response efforts.
